We welcomed more than 30 external guests to our final stakeholder event, streamed (and online via webinar) , where we presented key results and achievements of PANCAIM project. Here are just a few highlights from the project:
The final PANCAIM meeting is behind us — and the finish line is just weeks away. After nearly 5 years of groundbreaking work in data collection, AI development, and AI validation, the PANCAIM team came together in Nijmegen for the final project meeting. And what a journey it’s been!
- Multimodal Data from almost 3000 European patients has been collected in the PANCAIM repository
- Our team has developed more than 10 different AI models for radiology, pathology, genomics applications
- PANCAIM AI has been proven to be able to detect early signs of pancreatic cancer that even trained radiologists might miss
- PANCAIM AI for early detection on CT scans has been proven to be more cost effective than the current standard of care
- A sustainability plan, clinical trial protocol and AI application guidelines are currently being developed to ensure that the results developed in the project will make a real-life impact
A huge thank you to everyone who joined the final event and contributed to the discussions — and to the entire PANCAIM team for your dedication and innovation! We’ll continue to do our best to make sure these results continue to drive change in healthcare.
