PANCAIM consortium invites you to our final event!
AI Advancing Pancreatic Cancer Care
Results and conclusions from PANCAIM Project
4th September 2025
Van der Walk Hotel, Nijmegen, Netherlands & Online
PANCAIM project has spent the last 4.5 years developing and validating expert‑level AI for pancreatic‑cancer care, spanning early detection to therapy monitoring, by training on harmonised radiology, pathology and genomic data from multiple European clinical centres, with selected models now entering clinical validation.
As we are entering the final months of the project, we invite you to join us for the final event where we will draw conclusions, present the insights gained and network to plan next steps and build on the PANCAIM results.
The event brings together PANCAIM consortium members as well as clinicians, researchers, patient organisations, and other stakeholders in the pancreatic‑cancer community to present the project’s recent advances in data and AI for stratifying pancreatic‑cancer patients and improving diagnosis, treatment and outcome prediction.
Research highlights and examples of successful AI applications developed in the project and use cases will be presented, and highlights from validation experiments demonstrated. Finally, a path towards regular clinical application of AI in pancreatic cancer will be discussed and future priorities in research and innovation laid out by the PANCAIM panel of experts.
Pioneering multimodal data collection and AI development, and validation, for a rare and under‑researched cancer has not been without challenges – therefore, we also will investigate main lessons learned from the project and draw conclusions that may guide future consortia and R&D efforts.
The event will take place on Thursday, 04.09.2025 in a hybrid format at the Van der Walk Hotel Nijmegen, Netherlands and Online.
